Welcome to the Lynch/van Otterloo YMCA! We have all of the amenities you and your family need to be together, play together and stay healthy together.
Youth Development – 16,200 youth and teens are learning, growing, and thriving to become tomorrow's leaders. Our Y offers licensed childcare programs, summer day camps and a wide variety of youth programs.
Healthy Living – 24,600 Individuals, children and families are part of our Y community, receiving the support and encouragement they need to achieve better health and well-being while reaching their health and wellness goals.
Social Responsibility – We ensure that our programs are accessible to all by providing $392,000 in financial assistance each year so everyone regardless of their ability to pay can enjoy their community Y!

FREE ENRICHMENT PROGRAMMING FOR OUR MEMBERS AGE 55+
The Y Connection meets once a month to dream up fun programs and adventures! Canoeing, hiking, biking, golf club, apple picking, snow shoeing to name a few. Our weekly Clubs include; mah jongg, cribbage, book club, walking, country line dancing, and, of course, great conversation and fun. We have field trips, tours, bus trips, classes such as a Creative Writing , Astrology, Geneology and more!

SAFE & CONFIDENT SWIMMERS START AT THE Y: SWIM LESSONS, COMPETITIVE SWIM TEAM AND MORE!
Swimming is a life skill as well as great exercise and a challenging sport. Our Ys offer swim lessons for all ages, family swim, competitive swimming, and many kinds of adaptive swim programs for kids with special needs, so we can all safely enjoy the pleasures of an aquatic environment. The YMCA's Swimming programs encourage people of all ages to use the buoyant qualities of water to enhance their physical fitness through exercise. It’s an ideal form of exercise for all ages and increases physical strength and endurance without putting stress and strain on joints. Swimmers and non-swimmers alike can take part in this type of exercise to improve health, fitness and overall well-being.
We’ve “upgraded” our swim lessons! Our instructors have been trained in the latest and greatest swim curriculum from Y-USA. Swim lessons include proven effective progressions for swim safety, confidence building and stroke development with a splash of fun!
